Film Feedback

On Monday the 22nd Macrh, as a class we all watched each other's work and made some feedback for each group on a sheet. We all gave each other marks for Camera work, Editing, Mise-en-scene and etc. Also, we gave our opinions as a group on how their films worked was and what they can improve. After watching everyone's work, we got our Evaluation feedback sheets from the other groups in our class.

some of the reviews were:
1. How successful is sequence in engaging the audience?
"The music adds an eerie atmosphere and builds up tension"

2.Is the sequence recognisable as a film from a specific genre? what genre is it?
"Yes, Thriller"

3. Outline one outstanding feature and one that might be improved
"Maybe lighting-it was quite dark in some places"

4. Is there anything that can be improved through further post-production?
"Make it a little shorter, titles slower"

5.Please add any other comments you consider useful to the production groups evaluation.
"we thought it was good-perhaps a little dark"

Moreover, we were given marks by groups on our skills, one of the groups gave us these marks:
Camera work-53/60
Selecting mise-en-scene-44/60
Editing post-production, use of titles (including sound e.g. sound bridges, titles)-54/60
Use of diegetic and non-diegetic sound (use it appropriate, does it add meaning?)-53/60
Producing a sequence which is reliable as the opening from a thriller-54/60

We were pleased to get these reviews back as we got some good criticisms and some constructive criticisms. With this we can change parts of our movie to make it better and also take note of the things we did well to include in our evaluation.
